The statutory body governing the TRDC is the Alzahrawi Society, a registered Non-Profit Organization. The Scientific Director of the TRDC is Dr. Ibrahim Yehia, who is appointed by the TRDC management board, which is chaired by Prof. Abdussalam Azem, dean of the Faculty of Life Sciences at Tel Aviv University. The board is comprised of seven professors from Tel Aviv University as the body that provides scientific sponsorship to the center, and three heads of local authorities who represent the local government and members representing represent industry and academia, and public figures.
