Researchers

The Triangle R&D Center and the Department of Geography and Environment at Bar-Ilan University are looking to hire a researcher with a master’s degree, a doctoral student (or post-doctoral student) to join a research team funded by the National Science Foundation (ISF) headed by Dr. Adi Weidenfeld, in collaboration with Prof. Anat Manes (Bar-Ilan University) and Dr. Yair Greenberg (Department of Geography, Hebrew University). The research deals with the development of economic branches and entrepreneurship in the Wadi Ara regions and the Druze towns. The research examines the roles of regional actors and industries in shaping regional development trends while being based on ecosystems of regional innovation. This means studying and understanding, among other things, the built-in regional resilience and regional development paths based on local advantages and openness to promoting local and regional innovation.

We are looking for a researchers with knowledge of economics and business administration and preferably with a background in the fields of economic geography, local and regional development, or another relevant field, with an open mind and with innovative ideas who have an interest in the subject and an internal incentive to open up and promote new ideas.
